Sindhuli, June 25
Two persons died and two others were injured in a road accident at Kamarephant of Sunkoshi Rural Municipality-2 in Sindhuli district on Monday night.
The deceased have been identified as Hema Lamichhane, 45, of Kathmandu Metropolitan City-13 and Achyut Lamichhane, 60, according to Deputy Superintendent of Police at the District Police Office, Lok Darshan Thapa.
The accident took place when a car (Ba 13 Cha 3793) heading towards Kathmandu from Halesi, Khotang fell some 200 metres off the road, said Thapa.
Car driver Deepak Lamichhane, 58, and Astha Lamichhane, 26, daughter of Achyut Lamichhane, were injured in the incident, according to police.
Hema was wife of car driver Deepak.
