Dolpa, November 22
Some cadres sustained injuries as members of CPN-UML and Nepali Congress clashed in Kagkot of Chharkatangsong Rural Municipality of Dolpa district on Thursday.
Police say the injured are undergoing treatment at the District Hospital.
Meanwhile, the parties have blamed each-other for the incident.
Congress district president Angad Budha says some UML cadres torn letters issued to his cadres to work as representatives of candidates at a voting booth on Sunday.
The party has claimed the UML cadres tried to murder some Congress leaders.
The party has warned that it will not participate in the elections if the administration cannot assure security of voters and candidates’ representatives.
