Kathmandu, April 24
Marking the occasion of Loktantra Day (Democracy Day), the CPN-UML is organizing a ‘Youth Celebration’ today at Bhrikutimandap. UML youths from across the country have gathered in Kathmandu for the event.
Youth speakers representing all seven provinces are addressing the celebration assembly.
According to UML’s head of the Publicity Department, Rajendra Gautam, the Youth Celebration aims to promoted public discourse on democracy and the role of youth.
The UML stated that the event has been organized to highlight the significance of Loktantra.
Gautam added that the program is being celebrated on March 24 (Baisakh 11) as a “day won by the people.”
