Rajendra Mahato, US diplomat Andrea B Goodman discuss rights violations during Madhesh movement
Kathmandu, March 24
Nepal Sadbhavana Party President Rajendra Mahato had an important guest at his party office in Kathmandu on Friday.
The guest was none other than Andrea B Goodman, chief of the Political and Economic Section at the United States Embassy in Kathmandu.
During the meeting, Mahato informed about the demands of the Madhesh movement and human rights violations that took place in course of the movement, Devendra Yadav, joint general secretary of the party, said.
On the occasion, Mahato had said America should speak about the rights violations. In her response, Goodman advised Mahato to continue talks with the government. She said she will express concerns about the matter with Prime Minister KP Oli once he returns from China.
