Kathmandu, February 16
One person died and one person was injured in a motorbike accident in Dudhauli Municipality in Sindhuli on Friday morning.
District Police Office Sindhuli spokesperson DSP Chiranjeevi Dahal informed that the deceased has been identified as 23-year-old Bechu Kumar, a resident of Dudhauli Municipality-10.
Kumar, who was on his motorbike was hit from behind by another motorbike driven by 55-year-old Hari Raut.
Kumar sustained a serious head injury and was rushed to the government hospital in Katari for treatment. However, DSP Dahal confirmed that the doctor declared him dead at 6:55 this morning.
Meanwhile, Raut is currently receiving treatment at Prayag Hospital in Dudhauli. Police reported that Raut has broken his right leg and was out of danger.
