18-year-old kidney patient jumps to death from TUTH’s third floor

An 18-year-old kidney patient committed suicide on Monday night.

Bijaya Khadka of Malu, Dolakha district, jumped from a window of Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital in Maharajgunj where he was undergoing treatment.

Seriously injured after he jumped from a window of the hospital’s third floor, Khadka died in course of treatment at the hospital, police informed. An investigation is in progress, police said.

Meanwhile, Rabina Sharma (30) of Argeni-7, Gulmi district, who was living in a building of Mahankal higher secondary school based in Gotikhel-3, Lalitpur, was found dead on Monday night.

In another incident, Imamul Ansari (38) of Inaruwa-4, Bara district, was found dead at his rented room in Dipawali Marg, Lalitpur submetropolis-15, on Monday.

A police investigation into the case is underway.
