Nepalgunj, April 24
Three children of a single family died as their house in Puduwa, Daduwa Rural Municipality-1 of Baneke district caught fire at midnight on Sunday.
The fire was sparked from the adjacent house of Dulari Murau.
The victims have been identified as Pawan Murau (6), Ramji Murau (8) and Soni Murau (10), according to the Banke Chief District Officer Rabilal Pantha.
Parents of the victims were not at home during the incident as they had left for a nearby farm to harvest wheat.
As many as eight huts were destroyed in the fire.
Police are yet to ascertain the cause behind the inferno.
