Kathmandu, April 13
Four persons have died when an SUV fell off the road at Singati, Bigu rural municipality-4 of the Dolakha district on Monday night. Other 17 passengers have sustained injuries.
The vehicle (Bagmati Province 01-023 Cha 7580) was heading towards Laduk from Singati when it fell around 150 metres down the road at around 10:30 pm yesterday.
DSP Bhoj Raj Rijal says four residents of Bigu-3, namely Binod KC (35), Ajita Khatri (45), Radha Khadka (52), and Chandika Thapa (24), died in the accident.
Of the injured, 10 have been referred to Kathmandu whereas seven others are undergoing treatment at the Charikot Hospital in Dolakha and at the Dhulikhel Hospital in Kavre.
The incident site is 40 km away from the district headquarters, Charikot, which is 130 km east of Kathmandu.
