Constituency Delineation Commission formed, given 21-day assignment

Kathmandu, July 20

The government on Thursday formed the Constituency Delineation Commission and gave 21 days to determine the borders of 165 constituencies for federal elections and 330 ones for provincial polls as per the constitution.

Former justice Kamal Narayan Das heads the Commission which comprises Madhav Adhikari, Bishwa Kalyan Parajuli and Ganesh Raj Karki as members.

Yogendra Sharma has been appointed the member-secretary.

A Cabinet meeting held today formed the Commission.

The Election Commission and major political parties had been demanding the Commission at the earliest.
