Kathmandu, April 22

UCPN-Maoist Chairman Prachanda has called on all revolutionaries and patriots to unite.

Prachanda, in a statement on the occasion of 146th Lenin Day and the 67th anniversary of the founding of Nepal Communist Party, hoped that the day inspires all to work towards a socialist revolution.

Nepal Communist Party was established on Lenin Day 67 years ago, and since then the Communist movement in the country has gone through different highs and lows , said Prachanda adding that communists have had an important role to play in ushering in change in Nepal.

He added that communists are the centre of national politics, and with republicanism, secularism, federalism and inclusiveness in safe hands, the country can now move towards a socialist revolution.
