Parbat, June 8
Minister for Agriculture Development, Haribol Gajurel, said on Wednesday that his party, CPN-Maoist Centre, is ready to lead government.
He said this while talking to heads of government offices based in Parbat. As per an understanding reached with the CPN-UML, now is our turn to lead government, Gajurel said, adding that the next government will be a national unity government.
The Nepali Congress and the UML are also positive about forming a unity dispensation, Gajurel said, adding that a national unity government will take shape sooner than later. Gajurel said there’s no alternative to forming a national government for successful implementation of the new constitution.
A consensus government will take shape for sure, Gajurel said, adding: Our party is ready to lead such a government.
