Bhairahawa, March 13
Veteran communist leader Ram Chandra Bhattarai has left the ruling CPN-Maoist Centre and re-entered the CPN-UML. Bhattarai is also a former Maoist lawmaker.
The senior leader had left the UML fold and joined the Maoists after they entered the peace process. With the Maoist party losing its strength, Bhattarai has returned home. The communist leader entered the UML fold at a mass gathering in Bhairahawa on Sunday.
Along with Bhattarai, some district-level leaders and cadres from various parties also entered the UML fold during the gathering.
