Kanchanpur, June 16
In coordination with police, Maiti Nepal Kanchanpur on Thursday saved three young women from falling into the trap of middlemen, who were to take them to Iraq via New Delhi. They rescued the three women aged 18-22 years and hailing from Sindhupalchok and Kavrepalanchok from the western border point of Gaddahchauki.
They were heading to New Delhi in a bus originating in Kathmandu. Responding to our queries, the young women said they were heading to Iraq via New Delhi, Maiti Nepal Kanchanpur coordinator Maheshwori Bhatta said. The rescued women are under the care of Maiti Nepal.
