Chitwan, June 22
Traffic movement along the Narayangadh-Mugling road has remained halted since 4 am on Wednesday due to landslides at Kali Khola. Because of this, vehicles heading for Chitwan, Kathmandu and Pokhara have remained stuck on the road.
Landslides have been continuing negating efforts to remove debris, Chitwan district police office said. Police have been trying to remove debris using dozers. On Tuesday also, landslides at different places along the road, including Char Kilo and Jalbire, had affected vehicular movement along the artery and beyond, for hours. The road had reopened only in the afternoon.
