Kathmandu, September 8
The main opposition CPN-UML said on Thursday Prime Minister Prachanda’s address to the Parliament has raised what it called a ‘serious constitution question’. The party said it will raise this issue in the Parliament.
‘PM Prachanda has presented his government’s policies and programmes, raising questions about the implementation of erstwhile (KP Oli) government’s policies and programmes that the Parliament has already approved’
During Thursday’s address, PM Prachanda presented his government’s policies and programmes, raising questions about the implementation of erstwhile (KP Oli) government’s policies and programmes that the Parliament has already approved, the main opposition said.
Talking to Onlinekhabar after PM Prachanda’s address, Subas Nembang, deputy leader of the UML parliamentary party, said people will raise questions over this address and the government will have to answer them.
The former Speaker further said: We have no comment on programmes that PM has presented, but will he implement policies and programmes that President presented in the Parliament or implement his own programmes?
The House has already approved erstwhile government’s policies and programmes and has also approved the budget accordingly, Nembang said, alleging: New Prime Minister has brought his own policies and programmes in this context.
PM Prachanda has brought new policies and programmes. How will he manage budget to implement them? Today’s speech has raised several questions. Moving ahead will be impossible without answering these questions.

In the name of informing about his visit to India, PM has presented his ‘policies and programmes’ in the Parliament and tricked the main opposition, the UML said.
