Kathmandu, November 4
Nepal’s Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ and members of this Cabinet are yet to make public details of their assets, even as the government nears the 100-day mark.
According to the law, any individual who takes up public office needs to make submit the details of his/her assets withing 60 days of taking office.
“The Cabinet has not taken a decision on this,” spokesperson Damodar Sharma told Onlinekhabar. “Although the government is nearing its 100 days, some of the ministers have spent less than 60 days in office,” he said.
“We will publish the details soon after the Cabinet decides to this effect,” he said.
