Kathmandu, February 26
Madheshi Morcha, an alliance of Terai-based political parties in Nepal that has been demanding an amendment to the constitution, it is not in a hurry to withdraw support to the ruling coalition.
According to Morcha sources, the alliance decided to pile pressure on the government to get an amendment bill currently being deliberated in Parliament, passed. It has also begun discussions on possbile ramifications if it does decided to withdraw support to the government.
A Morcha leader told Onlinekhabar that the alliance does not want to take a harsh decision as the bill to amend the constitution is being deliberated in Parliament.
The Morcha is meeting on Sunday afternoon to discuss it next strategy.
