Himalayan Haat

Kathmandu, March 8, 2025

The Himalayan Haat, organized by Jain Mahila Mandal Kathmandu, witnessed an overwhelming response as thousands gathered to celebrate the festive Holi Mela at Narayan Chaur Park, Naxal. The event, held on International Women’s Day, was a platform for promoting small-scale women entrepreneurs, featuring over 60 brands exhibiting their products.

The occasion also marked the 25th anniversary of the organization’s free homeopathic clinic at Gaushala, adding a special significance to the event.

Former President of the Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI), Bhawani Rana, graced the event as the chief guest. Several renowned personalities, including singer Indira Joshi, social activist Shanti Chadha, Dr. Garima Shrestha, actress Shilpa Maskey, motivational speaker Mannsi Agrawal, and many more, added glamour to the fair.

With an footfall of over 2,500 attendees, Himalayan Haat 2025 successfully brought together communities in a celebration of culture, commerce, and empowerment.

“We are overwhelmed with the love and support from people all around. Our main objective was to provide a platform for small-scale women entrepreneurs on International Women’s Day, and I am thrilled by the response,” said Prema Nahata, President of Jain Mahila Mandal Kathmandu.
