Kathmandu, April 15
Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has assigned the responsibility of Vice-Chancellor of Tribhuvan University to Rector Prof. Dr. Khadga KC.
Oli, who is also the Chancellor of TU, appointed Khadga KC as the acting Vice-Chancellor. KC has been given the responsibility until further arrangements are made.
KC confirmed to Onlinekhabar that he has received the appointment. He said, “I have received the letter of appointment as Vice-Chancellor. I will now go to the office and assume my duties.”
The position had remained vacant following the resignation of former Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Keshar Jung Baral.
