Saptari, March 6
Seven UDMF activists sustained injuries in clash with police at Saptari district headquarters Rajbiraj on Monday.
The fighting occurred when around 1,000-odd UDMF cadres tried to breach police cordon and head towards the CPN-UML programme venue close to the industrial estate in Rajbiraj. The injured include district-level leaders of the UDMF, including Bhim Raj Yadav and Satish Singh. They have been rushed to Sagarmatha Zonal Hospital.
Meanwhile, UML leaders are on the way to Rajbiraj. UML supporters from Fattepur, Rupnagar and Udayapur are heading towards Rajbiraj, boosting the leaders’ morale.
