Kathmandu, May 1
CPN-UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli has urging ruling parties, Nepali Congress and CPN-Maoist Centre, to withdraw the impeachment motion filed against Chief Justice Sushila Karki by Tuesday.
Addressing a programme organised to launch the party’s election manifesto, Oli said the impeachment was brought with ill intents.
Oli was of the view that the impeachment motion was aimed at affecting the verdict to be delivered on a case against the appointment of IGP Prakash Aryal. The Supreme Court is scheduled to hold final hearing on the case tomorrow.
