Kathmandu, November 17

Federal Socialist Party-Nepal Chairman Upendra Yadav says his party is still willing to form an electoral alliance with the Nepali Congress though the two parties have already fielded their own candidates in most of the constituencies.

Yadav says his party is ready to form a democratic alliance till the last moment. The leader, however, accuses the Congress of ignoring the idea it developed.

Yadav, who has partnered with the Rastriya Janata Party-Nepal, says the Congress should form an alliance with both the Madhesh-centric parties as the Congress has become weaker in the Terai region of late.

He says the Congress will benefit the most from the partnership.

Meanwhile, Yadav says his victory in Saptari-2 is very certain.

His competitors–Umesh Yadav of the CPN-Maoist Centre and Jaya Prakash Thakur–also spoke at the function organised by Reporter’s Club today in the Capital.
