Upendra Yadav has been re-elected unanimously as the central president of the Janata Samajwadi Party (JSP) Nepal at the national convention held in Janakpur. Yadav, who has led the party since its inception, secured his position as the sole candidate for the presidency.
The national convention, which took place at Mahendra Narayan Nidhi Bhavan in Janakpurdham, Madhesh Province, saw the registration of nominations for the 201-member Central Committee. The Election Committee reported that the nomination process commenced at 8:30 am today.
While the candidates for other leadership positions within the party have yet to be disclosed, Yadav’s unchallenged election highlights his continued influence and leadership within JSP Nepal.
