Around three weeks after the theft of four tyres of a parked vehicle, yet another incident of theft has been reported from Singhadarbar, Nepal’s central administrative complex where lies almost all ministries of the federal government, which is supposed to be the most secure place.
Rs 42,000 cash was stolen from the canteen nearby the Ministry of Peace and Reconstruction in the complex operated by Bishwaraj Silwal, according to the Metropolitan Police Circle, Singhadarbar.
After the victim, Silwal, filed a complaint, police have launched a probe, informs DSP Kapil Bohora.
Meanwhile, some police officials claim it was a shameful incident.
Earlier last year, an employee at the Ministry of Physical Infrastructure and Transport had reported that her laptop had been lost from the office.
