Kathmandu, January 16
CPN-UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli, who is presently in Bangkok of Thailand in course of his regular medical checkup, is returning home Thursday.
The former Prime Minister, who is expected to hold the top position again, had left for the capital city of Thailand on January 10.
Though he was earlier scheduled to return today, the visit was extended by two more days , according to his press coordinator Chetan Adhikari.
He underwent health checkups at the Bangkok-based Bumrungrad International Hospital and his medical reports are normal, it is said.
Some leaders have been saying that Oli’s absence is delaying the unification process between the UML and the CPN-Maoist Centre.
