Kailali, May 25
Province 7’s Minister for Financial Affairs and Planning Jhapat Bahadur Bohara, held a discussion with the main opposition party leaders on the budget for the upcoming fiscal year.
In the meeting, Minister Bohara asked the main opposition leaders to provide suggestions on the topics that will be included in the annual policy and programmes, and budget for the next fiscal year.
Minister Bohara informed that poverty alleviation, education, tourism, and infrastructure development will be the main target areas of the province.
The ministry has also been preparing a plan to introduce a special programme to uplift the living standard of dalit, women, youth, farmers, differently-abled, and people of Badi, Raute, Kamaiya and Chidimar communities.
The province has been preparing a budget of around Rs 19 billion.
