Speaker Mahara orders ‘inappropriate’ words used in Parliament removed from record

Speaker Krishna Bahadur Mahara has ordered Parliament officials to remove ‘inappropriate’ words used by the Prime Minister and the leaders of the Nepali Congress during a heated exchange in the House on Tuesday.

Speaker Mahara, who was addressing Parliament’s meeting on Friday, ordered authorities to remove inappropriate words used by PM KP Oli, who was responding to questions raised by MPs over the government’s annual policy and programmes. and the leaders of the opposition.

At the start of the meeting on Friday, NCP lawmaker Khagaraj Adhikari stood up to draw the attention of the Speaker towards the ‘innapropriate’ words used by the opposition on Tuesday. Responding to the statement, Speaker Mahara said that inappropriate words used by both the Prime Minister and the opposition leaders have been removed from the records.
