Kathmandu, May 13
Police in Panchthar district of eastern Nepal say they have found the body of a 15-year-old girl in Panchami, Hilihand-4 of the district on Sunday evening.
The body of Sheetal Yonghand of the same neighbourhood was found with the slit throat, according to police.
Police Inspector Anil Paudel of the District Police Office says the body was found by a local road.
Police are yet to find any clue about the murderer and their motive. Further investigation is underway, Paudel adds.
Police have recovered a mobile phone set from the incident site.
The victim’s body has been taken to the District Hospital for postmortem.
