Kathmandu, October 9
Newly appointed managing director of the national flag carrier, Nepal Airlines Corporation, Dim Prakash Paudel, says he has understood all problems of the financially crippled organisation, assuring he will solve them all, one after another.
Citing that he also worked as a member of a team commissioned to suggest reforms in the corporation last year, Paudel says he has a good understanding of what needs to be done there.
Paudel says he has identified three priorities in the first phase: protecting the corporation from the impact of the Covid-19 crisis, strengthening the corporation’s presence in domestic flights and adding new aircraft to its fleet, and working on organisational reforms.
A cabinet meeting held on Thursday had appointed Paudel.
