Kathmandu, December 1
Citing the risk of Covid-19 has not subsided in the Kathmandu valley, the Kathmandu District Administration Office has prohibited any demonstrations in the district.
The DAO’s order follows a demonstration of royalists in a noticeable size in the city on Monday. However, the DAO has not cited anything about the royalist demonstration.
The DAO says all types of conferences, rallies, and demonstrations will be restricted. It has warned that those violating the order will be booked as per the Infectious Disease Act and the Local Administration Act.
