Kathmandu, March 12
The Judicial Council has recommended for the appointment of two Supreme Court justices.
A council meeting chaired by Chief Justice Cholendra Shamsher Rana on Friday recommended Kumar Chudal and Nahakul Subedi for the vacant positions at the apex court. Currently, they are chief judges at Patan High Court and Surkhet High Court respectively.
Likewise, the council also nominated 18 judges for various high courts across the country.
Of the nominees, two are special-class justice officials, seven sitting district judges, two first-class justice officials, and seven advocates.
