Kathmandu, August 4
After Manang, neighbouring Mustang has also become another district to vaccinate all of its citizens above the age of 18 against Covid-19.
Mustang District Health Office Chief Tika Ram Bhandari says around 9,300 people in the district have received vaccines so far. In addition, the district also provided vaccines to 213 people from other districts but currently staying there, according to him.
Bhandari informs 525 people had been infected with the coronavirus in the second wave, of which 15 died.
Before this, Manang, the smallest district of the country in terms of population, had become the first district to fully vaccinate its citizens against Covid-19.
