The new landfill site for Kathmandu waste management is ready at Bancharedanda in Nuwakot, some kilometres north of the capital. However, the city is unlikely to use that anytime soon as the locals say various infrastructures required there are not prepared yet.
Likewise, the locals say the government has not fulfilled their demands yet.
