Saptari, February 6
A woman died after allegedly being burned by her own brother-in-law at Dhangadhi, Bodebasain municipality-1 of the Saptari district in Madhesh.
Seriously injured in the torching, Raj Kumari Sah (27) died during treatment in Biratnagar on Saturday, according to police.
Her husband Rabin Kumar (30) had filed a complaint at the police saying his brother Parameshwar (20), poured petrol on his wife while she was cooking rotis in an attempted murder on Friday morning.
The accused is on the run and police have launched a manhunt, DSP Madhav Prasad Kaphle, the spokesperson of the District Police Office says.
