Kathmandu, April 6
The government-run fuel distribution monopoly Nepal Oil Corporation has increased the prices of petroleum products once again. Of late, the corporation has been increasing fuel prices every fortnight.
As per the statement made by the corporation on Tuesday evening, the following changes have been made to the new price:

Diesel/Kerosene | Rs 138/litre | Rs 143/litre |
Cooking gas | Rs 1,575/cylinder | Rs 1,600/cylinder |
The corporation has also increased the aviation fuel prices for both domestic and international flight operators.
Whereas the corporation would abstain from making the cooking gas expensive despite facing a continuous loss owing to public protests, it has increased the prices of cooking (LP) gas also this time.
The last increase in the price of cooking gas was in November 2021.
