Baniyani, May 25
Two, including a policeman, died after being hit by a bus in the Jhapa district of eastern Nepal on Wednesday morning.
The accident took place along the Sivasatashi-Dharampur road section of the East-West Highway when a bus (Ko 1 Kha 7187) hit a motorbike (Province 1 02040 Pa 7149) killing two people on the spot.
According to DSP Basanta Pathak of the district police office, the deceased are Jitu Hang Rai and police constable Prakash Rai.
Police have arrested the bus driver.
