Kathmandu, June 6
One person died whereas two others sustained injuries when two motorbikes collided at Chappargaudi, Kohalpur municipality-12 of the Banke district minutes before Sunday midnight.
The two motorbikes–Bhe 12 Pa 3398 and Bhe 11 Pa 1181–had collided head-on at around 11:45 pm yesterday.
Seriously injured in the accident, Khadga Gurung (29), the rider of the first bike, was taken to the Nepalgunj Medical College, Kohalpur, Banke. Police say he died there during treatment.
The pillion rider of the bike, Ram Bahadur Ghale (29), a resident of Kohalpur-2, and the second motorbike rider Dal Bahadur Saru (38) have sustained injuries and are undergoing treatment at the same health facility.
