Janakpurdham, June 7
A six-year-old child missing from the Janakpurdham sub-metropolitan city-6 of the Dhanusha district in southeastern Nepal has been found dead.
Ranki Barahi was missing since Tuesday last week. But, his body, decayed, has been found by the local Dudhmati river, in Basahiya, ward 22 of the city.
DSP Pradeep Bahadur Chhetri, the District Police Office spokesperson, says preparations are underway to take his body to Kathmandu for postmortem. Local police have also launched an investigation.
Barahi’s family from Kabilasi municipality-7 of the Sarlahi district had recently shifted to Dhanusha and was living in a tent here.
