Janakpurdham, January 16
A passenger died suddenly after falling inside the Bhangha-Jayanagar train.
Dhanusha Police Spokesperson DSP Ranjan Awa informed that the deceased is 50-year-old Ram Ekwal Pandit of Loharpatti Municipality 4 of Mahottari.
According to him, Pandit boarded the train at 8 am, which was heading to Jayanagar from Bhangha, and he entered the train at Loharpatti.
DSP Awa said that when the train conductor went to check the ticket, Pandit suddenly fell inside the train compartment and died.
The body of the deceased Pandit has been placed at the Provincial Hospital Janakpur for post-mortem.
DSP Awa mentioned that they are conducting further investigation into the incident.
