Hetauda, June 21
A police personnel has been arrested on charges of raping a 17-year-old minor. The arrested individual is Santosh Bot, a 24-year-old police officer from Kanchanpur, who was stationed at the Bharta Police Station.
According to SP Sitaram Risal, the chief of Makwanpur police, the officer was arrested after the 17-year-old filed a complaint at the District Police Office in Makwanpur.
SP Risal stated that the police officer accused of raping the minor was apprehended on May 29. The Makwanpur police have completed their investigation and have sent the file to the government attorney’s office.
