Today marks the celebration of Shree Krishna Janmashtami. A large crowd of devotees has gathered at the Krishna Temple in Patan, Lalitpur.
From early morning, devotees have been queuing at the temple for worship and prayers in honour of Shree Krishna Janmashtami.
Separate lines for worshippers have been arranged on the south and north sides of the temple. The Nepal Scouts and Lalitpur Metropolitan Police have been deployed to manage the crowd.
It is customary for the President to visit the Krishna Temple in Patan for darshan on this occasion.
