Kathmandu, June 25
Aayusha Pyakurel, a 21-year-old from Nepal, has achieved a remarkable feat by securing the first runner-up position in Miss Glam World 2023.
The highly anticipated pageant featured reigning titleholders from more than 50 countries, all vying for the coveted crown. Pyakurel shared the stage with Miss Belgium Zomkey Tenzin who emerged as the winner, and second runner-up Samruddi Shetty from India.
Pyakurel had travelled to Kochi of Kerala in India for the final event of Miss Glam World 2023, which was held on June 21.
Her success in the pageant world aligns with her belief that beauty competitions and a great opportunity to be the representative for Nepal.
She won the grand title of Miss Glam World Nepal, organised by PEGASUS, at Rastriya Naach Ghar in Jamal on June 2.
This is the second time Nepal has participated in this international platform. Nepal took part in the pageant last year where Irina Shrestha represented Nepal and reached the top 6 and also won Miss Glam World Adorable title.
