Kathmandu, March 15
The Ambassador of Pakistan to Nepal Abrar H Hashmi called upon Narayan Kaji Shrestha, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Foreign Affairs of Nepal at his office on March 14. Ambassador Hashmi congratulated the minister on assuming the office of the Foreign Minister of Nepal.
The Ambassador also conveyed felicitations on behalf of Foreign Minister of Pakistan Muhammad Ishaq Dar and the people of Pakistan to him.
According to a press statement released by the Pakistani Embassy in Nepal, Foreign Minister Shrestha expressed his gratitude for the felicitation messages and his commitment to the cordial bilateral relations existing between the two friendly countries.
Ambassador Abrar H Hashmi discussed with the minister the full spectrum of bilateral relations, the need for enhanced engagement in diverse fields; the revival of existing mechanisms, exchanges between leadership, particularly youth, sports and businessmen and cooperation in regional and international organisations.
