An Enigma, directed by Ram K.A.C, staged at Moradok-Mai International Theatre Festival at the Bangkok Cultural and Arts Center on Friday.
The festival hosted groups from Thailand and countries including Nepal, Canada, Hungary, Uruguay, Italy, England, Estonia, and Iran.
An Enigma explores a harsh reality where dreaming is forbidden, compelling dreamers to either silence themselves or navigate a desolate wasteland. The play reflects the uncertain lives of those who, despite holding citizenship, remain unsure of their place in the country.
The play features a solo performance of Kiran Chapagain.
An Enigma was previously staged at the Rastriya Nachghar in Nepal.
