Two people have been arrested for conducting hundi transactions.
Those arrested are Yuvaraj Prasain and Bishwas Rai.
SP Navaraj Adhikari, spokesperson and information officer of the Central Bureau of Investigation, informed that the police team deployed based on a special tip that hundi transactions were being conducted by the two.
According to the police, Rs 3.01 million, two laptops and five mobile phones were confiscated from Rai’s room in Naya Basti.
The police also said that they are being investigated for the offence under the Nepal Rastra Bank Act, 2002.
