Biratagar, October 16
Three men were arrested on charges of raping a 25-year-old woman in Biratnagar.
Following a complaint from the woman, police arrested Tek Bahadur Tamang, Binod Chauhan and a 16-year-old boy on Sunday morning.
Tamang is a truck driver and Chauhan is his assistant. The 16-year-old is also Tamang’s assistant.
DSP Ranjan Kumar Dahal said the three raped her in the truck on Sunday morning.
Upon the woman’s resistance and her cries for help, local residents promptly contacted the police, leading to her timely rescue.
