Dhangadhi, April 3
One person died in a road accident in the Baitadi district of Sudurpaschim on Monday.
An SUV (Se 1 Ja 295) fell off the road at Tilakpur Bhita, Pancheshwar rural municipality-5 of the district along the Dehimandau-Giredanda road, killing Mahadev Bhatta (55), a resident of Pancheshwar-5, on the spot.
DSP Prem Bahadur Shahi says other 12 people including the driver were injured in the accident.
One of the injured, Kunti Bhatta, is reportedly critical whereas others are out of danger.
A preliminary report says the accident was caused by a brake failure.
