Kathmandu, November 3
India’s President Pranab Mukherjee will meet leaders of different political parties on Thursday.
Leaders of the Nepali Congress, CPN-UML, CPN-Maoist Centre and parties affiliated to the Madheshi Morcha (UDMF) will meet Mukherjee at Hyatt Hotel, Bouddha.
Madhesh-centric parties not affiliated to the Morcha have no plan of meeting Mukherjee, while chiefs of seven UDMF constituents will meet the Indian leader collectively.
Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ will meet Mukherjee in the capacity of Centre Chair. He has already met Mukherjee as Prime Minister. After Prachanda, NC President Sher Bahadur Deuba will meet Mukherjee. He will be accompanied with senior NC leader Ramchandra Poudel and party general secretary Shashank Koirala, among others.
UML Chair KP Sharma Oli will also meet Mukherjee today. He will be accompanied by senior UML leaders.
