A 22-year-old man died in a road accident in Bhaktapur on Wednesday night. The car driver is injured.
A car (Ba 4 Cha 576) crashed at Chardobato, Madhyapur Thimi municipality-4 of the Bhaktapur district last night, after the driver lost control over the vehicle, according to police.
The District Police Office information officer Raju Pandey says Abhishek Sah (22), a permanent resident of Janakpur-15 in Dhanusha, currently residing in Shantinagar of Kathmandu, sustained serious injuries in the accident and was rushed to the Nagarik Hospital in Gaththaghar. He died after a few hours during treatment.
The car driver, Sabin Ghising (25), a resident of Kamalamai municipality-12 of the Sindhuli district, is injured. He is undergoing treatment at Madhyapur Hospital, Thimi.
The car had crashed after hitting a road divider. It had also hit a taxi and a bus in the process.
