Chitwan, May 25
The CPN-Maoist Centre mayoral candidate Renu Dahal has further narrowed down her difference with the leading candidate Devi Gyawali of CPN-UML.
Dahal, also supported by the Nepali Congress, has been accelerating her chase after Gyawali since Wednesday.
As of Thursday morning, Dahal is lagging behind Dahal with a difference of 1,749 votes which was around 3,800 on Tuesday evening.
Now, votes from ward 15 to 24 are yet to be counted. These places are considered the stronghold of NC and Dahal has expected a good support.
Meanwhile, the Maoist candidate Bijaya Bhujel won the ward chairperson’s position in ward 25.
